English Hardcover Third Edition is the complete publication which consists of: Preface, Text, Workbook for Students, Manual for Teachers, Clarification of Terms, Supplements.
This Combined Volume,
is the only edition that contains in one place all of the writings that
Dr. Helen Schucman, its Scribe, authorized to be printed.
It also includes the Supplements to A Course in Miracles, "Psychotherapy: Purpose, Process and Practice and The Song of Prayer." These sections are extensions of the Course principles, which were dictated to Dr. Schucman shortly after she completed A Course in Miracles.
As its title implies, the Course, a self-study program, is arranged
throughout as a teaching device. It consists of three books: a 669-page
Text, a 478-page Workbook for Students, and an 88-page Manual for
Teachers. The order in which students choose to use the books, and the
ways in which they study them, depend on their particular needs and
preferences.
The curriculum the Course proposes is carefully conceived and is
explained, step by step, at both the theoretical and practical levels.
It emphasizes application rather than theory, and experience rather
than theology. It specifically states that a universal theology is
impossible, but a universal experience is not only possible but
necessary. (Manual, p. 77) Although Christian in statement, the Course
deals with universal spiritual themes. It emphasizes that it is but one
version of the universal curriculum. There are many others, this one
differing from them only in form. They all lead to God in the end.
A Course in Miracles group will start with lesson 1 of 365 daily lessons beginning Thursday, January 1 in Rm #301.
Shopping is changing. We are
graduating into a greener, healthier, unity-conscious way of living. Let's honor the earth, let go of
mass-manufactured items, appreciate creativity, and celebrate the cultural
diversity of cultures around the world.
We can accomplish this by shopping for Fair Trade
products - environmentally-friendly, handmade, and/or socially-conscious items. These products are often manufactured by impoverished or disadvantaged
communities around the world that otherwise might not have the opportunity to
earn a living wage or work in humane conditions. Fair Trade-certified
organizations ensure that these goods adhere to certain guidelines of social and
environmental responsibility in the manufacturing process. And the best part is that the items we purchase through our Fair Trade partners are beautiful!
Jewelry, home décor, musical instruments, and even tea
& coffee are included. How about artwork created by an Asian elephant named Hong? See him painthere!

can order from home, and your items will be shipped directly from our Fair Trade
partner, Exotic World Gifts. Either way, you will find a gift

"One Morning, a series of seven visions flashed into my mind. As soon
as I drew one image, another replaces it until I had drawn a complex
seven-stage journey of a wanderer discovering the spiritual path,
having an introduction to his own true nature, embodying that truth,
and reentering society. Nature of Mind is my homage to the artists and
wisdom masters of Tibet. The Tibetan Buddhist teachings known as
Dzogchen were the inspiration for these visions." Alex Grey

"Intending to create
spiritual art, I feel naturally attracted to abstraction and to a
written sacred language. Every known religion reveres its holy writing.
Sacred writing of all faiths, however, come into conflict through human
interpretation as the written word defines the differences of
philosophy and traditions, when truly the basis of all religion is
unity and infinite love. I do not give meaning to the symbols
in my art as it is meaning that separates experience from expression.
The alphabet that I use points to the notion of a sacred language
beyond meaning." Allyson Grey
